GOLD Debuts at Westward Look Resort
New restaurant concept unveiled in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (2/3/09) – The all-new GOLD restaurant at Westward Look Resort is set to make its golden debut. This week, the resort will unveil the new, contemporary dining venue to the Tucson community. GOLD is part of Westward Look Resort’s multimillion-dollar renovation project.
GOLD, formerly The Gold Room, offers a new and contemporary culinary adventure. A completely new menu concept created by the resort’s new Executive Chef James Wallace blends fresh and innovative contemporary American cuisine with a touch of desert-inspired flavor.
The GOLD menu offers fresh and creative fare made from quality ingredients. Meals are beautifully plated in artistic fashion. The first-class wine selection also contributes to the prestige of the menu.
Features include Lobster and Toasted Corn Risotto Cake with Jicama Slaw and Smoked Chile Remolade; Pinenut Crusted Free Range Breast of Chicken, and the “Short Stack,” a combination plate of Pan Roasted Petit Filet Mignon, Seared Rare Yellow Fin Tuna, and Grilled Day Boat Scallop with Mission Fig Sauce and Watercress Cream.
The interior décor dazzles with new colors, fabrics, and artwork. Every detail was crafted to perfection from the furniture and tabletops to every accessory. Gold, along with other metallic colors like shiny copper and smooth pewter, are highlighted in the restaurant, creating a scene of modern elegance. In addition, the space boasts incredible panoramic mountain and city views through its wall of windows in the dining room.
