Westward Look Resort offers dining and fun

Tucson, AZ (4/1/09) – Easter is nearly upon us. Celebrate the holiday at Westward Look Resort.  The resort is offering an array of culinary delights, live musical entertainment and a visit from Easter Bunny which all have the makings of an enchanting holiday.

GOLD, the resort’s newest concept, will be offering a three-course brunch menu with several delectable choices to please the entire family. First course choices include smoked salmon with truffle potato salad, gulf shrimp salad, cannellini bean soup and heart of romaine with strawberry, spiced pecans and peppered chevré. For the entrée, guests can choose from traditional eggs Benedict, pan roasted dayboat scallops, pecan crusted Atlantic salmon, herb roasted chicken breast, and medallions of Angus beef tenderloin. Guests will enjoy a trio of petite desserts: chocolate bread pudding, apple tartan and mixed berry compote shortcake. Easter Brunch will be served between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m at GOLD. The price is $49 per person and $24.50 for children ages 5 to 10. 

The Sonoran Ballroom will be serving brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will begin the celebration with a glass of sparkling wine, then enjoy a variety of fresh appetizers, gourmet entrées, a ham and prime rib carving station and an elaborate assortment of pastries. Guest can also savor the omelette station, as no Easter would be complete without the eggs! Entrées include grilled salmon with citrus butter sauce and chile-garlic rubbed sirloin beef. The price is $47 for adults and $23.50 for children ages 5 to 10.

The Catalina Ballroom will be offering an Easter breakfast buffet for early risers from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Guests will fill their plates with fresh fruit, breakfast pastries, scrambled eggs, cinnamon vanilla French toast, chile chilaques, potatoes, bacon and sausage!  Beverages include coffee, tea, and orange juice. The cost for this Easter breakfast is $15 per person or $7.50 for children ages 5 to 10.

To add to the fun children can enjoy a photo with the Easter Bunny! The Bunny will also be passing out sweets and treats. Easter morning entertainment includes Rob Resetar from 11 am to 3 pm in GOLD. Guests will enjoy his performance of piano with bass. In the Sonoran Ballroom, guests can enjoy the sounds of String Figures from 11 am to 4 pm. The acoustic trio will perform new age, light blue grass, jazz and world music.
