Give Dad a Day to Remember

Celebrate Father's Day at Westward Look Resort

Tucson, AZ (06/4/09) - This Father's Day, take a step away from buying the boring tie or socks and surprise Dad with a day to remember at Westward Look Resort. Father's Day is right around the corner and Westward Look Resort is serving up a delicious Man Day breakfast and brunch just for Dad.  Choose from two offerings that the whole family is sure to enjoy.

For an upscale and elegant Father's Day affair, GOLD is offering a plated three-course brunch/lunch from 11 am to 2 pm. Appetizers include seared pork and foie gras terrine with mild jalapeño jelly, jumbo shrimp martini, albondigas (a  Mexican meatball soup with spring vegetables), and a chopped 'mini' cobb salad. Entrées include roasted filet of salmon, corn tortillas, roasted tomato salsa, black beans and fresh fruit. The dessert petite trio contains New York cheesecake with strawberries, a green apple tartlette, and a chocolate pot de crème with cinnamon cream. The cost is $35 per person or $17.50 for children under 10 (plus tax and gratuity).

For a more casual setting, Lookout Bar & Grille will hold a special Man Day Buffet Breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m.  Start Dad's Day with a sliced fresh fruit tray, muffins, bagels and breakfast pastries with an assortment of cereals. Then choose from scrambled eggs, French toast, fried chicken and chile chilaques, alongside breakfast potatoes, bacon and sausage. Sip on orange juice, coffee and a variety of tea as well. This cost is $15 per person or $7.50 for children ages 5 - 10 (plus tax and gratuity).
