Get Away for Labor Day at Westward Look

Resort invites guests to celebrate the holiday weekend with fun, food and music

Tucson, AZ (07/26/11) – This Labor Day weekend, Westward Look invites guests to get away from it all with a three-day weekend full of family fun and take advantage of the last days of its popular Staycation Spectacular package, with rates starting at just $99 a night.* Guests can celebrate Labor Day, and summer’s send off, with family- friendly events all weekend, Saturday, September 3 through Monday, September 5.

Westward Look Resort will kick off their holiday weekend fun on Saturday, September 3, with kids’ activities, a DJ and drink specials by the Oasis pool. The main pool will feature a Dive-in Movie on Saturday evening.

On Sunday, September 4, from 9am to 5pm, kids can enjoy a variety of games, crafts and face painting by the Oasis pool. Drink specials for adults and kids alike will also be served up at the Oasis pool from 11am to 4:30pm. Guests can cap off the evening with a Dive-in Movie at the main pool.

On Monday, September 5, the celebration continues with more fun and games for the kids by the Oasis Pool from 10am to 2pm.

In addition, Westward Look’s two on-site restaurants will be serving up unique, delicious fare all weekend long. Lookout Bar & Grille will be offering their scrumptious menu, featuring Southwest fare with a contemporary twist, for lunch and dinner. Award-winning GOLD will offer breakfast all weekend long and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. Friday night diners at GOLD can enjoy the chef’s Lobster and Filet special, featuring grilled filet mignon and a baked lobster tail for $40 per person.

Guests who wish to take advantage of the Staycation Spectacular package are encouraged to do so before the rates expire on September 5. Rates for this package start at just $99 a night* and include a breakfast buffet at the resort’s award-winning GOLD restaurant for two adults and two children under 12.
