Executive Chef Jamie West has fun with food. He chooses the freshest ingredients and lets their natural flavors soar. “I enjoy combining flavor, color and texture in a way that pleases the eye as well as the palate,” he said. “I like to change my menus frequently, based on what’s in season and what’s growing in the Chef’s Garden.”

The Gold Room features Chef Jamie’s flavor-forward cuisine served with stunning city views of the Tucson Valley. This casually elegant restaurant was voted one of Tucson’s Top Five Restaurants by Tucson Lifestyle magazine. The Gold Room also holds the AAA Four-Diamond Award and Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menus change frequently to reflect what’s in peak season. Dine indoors or on the terrace. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
This restaurant is the more casual dining choice with a lighter menu, easygoing atmosphere and stunning views. Guests enjoy specialty drinks, an array of tequilas and the option of dining indoors or on the terrace.
Our chefs regularly harvest fresh foods throughout the 80 acres at Westward Look Resort. In addition to native cactus and mesquite, there are more than 20 species of fruit trees, numerous herbs and the bounty of the Chef's Garden. Edible flowers are also cultivated. Every Saturday morning guests are invited to meet our Executive Chef in the Chef's Garden and learn how he preserves the fresh-picked flavor, color and texture in his popular menus.
